trude* Rey and Finn re-build the Jedi-order, starting with Baby Yoda (Teen Yoda?) and lil’George the force sensitive stable boy. At the end of their lives (they both live to be over a hundred) there is a comparatively small, but steadily growing group of Jedi trying to make the galaxy better.
* Rey and Finn are also involved in a life-long, and very loving, open relationship. They raise about a dozen kids over the years.
* Absolutely no one has the energy to try and establish the New New Republic, so a committe consisting of Maz, Enfys Nest, some fish-nuns and L3-37 (Rey resurrected her, because what is the point of being a death-defying superhuman if you cannot re-unite Lando with the love of his life?) work out some other way to make the various worlds in the galaxy to co-operate as peacefully as possible. Rose takes a job as an intern and ends up as a West Wing-character (can’t decide if she’s Toby, Donna or Leo.)
* Poe spends the first couple of years after the war being depressed and hanging in bars. Then he buys a bar. Then he gets better. He doesn’t sell the bar.
* Lt Connix runs for, and is elected, Queen of Naboo. (She’s the grand-daughter of one of Padmés handmaidens. I’ve had this headcanon since 2015, please don’t tell me there is some tie-in material that contradicts it.
* Rey spends a couple of months trying very hard not to think about Ben Solo, then she thinks a bit about him and discovers that it doesn’t make her fell sad, or wistful, or angry or anything at all really. So she stops thinking about him. Many decades later, when she trying to stop one of her students to turn to the dark side, she thinks she can glimpse his force-ghost. And the student doesn’t turn dark, and she’s grateful. And then she stops thinking about him again.
