Flambards plotbunnies

The Flambards-series are among that kind of books which makes me wish I had the talent and energy to write fan-fiction. (I think I will try to write something about them - but some form of litcrit, not fiction.) However, if I could, these are the stories I would write:
* Short fic about teenage Will happily thinking about aerodynamics, only to suddenly find his mind invaded by erotic (well, sort of) fantasies about Christina.
* The missing (but canonical) scene where Will tells Fergus about how he won the point-to-point with Emma.
* The big, silly, sitcomishy AU where Christina dies in childbirth in 1917, Will gives up flying and for some reason takes baby Isobel and moves back to Flambards, where he, Mark and Dick (who suddenly shows up again for no discernible reason) hang out in the old stables, live on tea and sandwiches and bicker a lot. Dorothy pops in occasionally to flirt with all three of them.
* The big, slightly less silly AU where Christina dies in childbirth in 1917 and Will eventually ends up in a marriage of convenience to Dorothy (after she has been married to Mark a couple of years etcetera.)
* The AU where both Will and Christina survives WWI more or less intact and live as happily ever after as they possibly can - and Christina still has the epiphany that she really, sort of, loves Mark (but doesn’t act upon it).
* The Rosamund Pilcher-ish sequel where things turn out nice and cosy, everyone is kept more or less satisfied with gardening and a nice cup of tea and someone dies in WWII.
* The Mary Wesley-ish sequel where things turn out slightly weird, everyone is kept more or less satisfied with promiscuous sex and gourmet food and someone dies in WWII.
* Isobel Russel: war nurse/war correspondant/artist/political thinker/international woman of mystery. [As a kid, I wanted Isobel to grow up to be a pilot like her father. I don’t anymore, I just want her to be smart and brave and successful.]
* "Flambards in the 1970s", where senior citizens Christina and Dick finally manages to have a happy relationship.
* The A Pattern of Roses-crossover where the school-teacher Fergus courts in Flambards Divided in fact is Miss May Bellinger.
* Sandy-fic, about his youth, and his suffragette mother, and how he learned to fly.
* Dorothy-fic, about her childhood, and her experiences as a nurse in WWI, and her life after divorcing Mark.
* Sandy and Dorothy-fic: based on canon, AU, old Dorothy having conversations with Sandy’s ghost. And "Dorothy finding out about Sandy’s death and being comforted by Mark."
And, despite the content of my last post: The Flambards-slash plotbunnies.
* Will/Sandy. Short, sweet and not terribly serious.
* Christina/Dorothy, in every imaginable way. [Slash aside, what a rich, unusual, interesting portrait of female friendship that is.]
And, finally, the big epic story where Treasure manages to survive WWI and gallops home through war-torn Europe to finally reunite with his beloved Sweetbriar. (Or possibly Woodpigeon.)
