Merlin 2x09
Nov. 22nd, 2009 07:54 am( spoilers for The Lady of the Lake + trailer for 2x10 )
Other Arthuriana: Read the Lancelot/Elaine of C. bits in Mallory's Morte D'Arthur and then in White's The Ill-made Knight for comparison, and while Mallory is skeevy as hell, White's treatment of the female characters hurts more, because he has pity for them, and a bit of sympathy and sometimes a bit of grudging admiration, but he doesn't like them, and it shows.
To end on a happier note, here's the once and future Dumbledore serenading Vanessa Redgrave about the wonders of Camelot.
